Intro To this Journey

Hello, my name is Gracie Fenn. I started this journey with a wish: to make all-natural sugar scrubs and body butters at home with only nature based, nontoxic ingredients. What started as my interest in body scrubs and whipped body butters quickly turned into a love and passion for sensitive skin-friendly cosmetics and products that I knew and understood the ingredients of and felt confident wearing. As someone who has sensitive skin after having a baby, the cosmetic world opened wide, and I asked myself, "Why not make my own makeup?" And that blossomed into creating products that I was proud to wear and something I was excited about

sharing with other natural makeup lovers.

Growing up, I was the biggest nerd of human anatomy and physiology well before adulthood. I was also taught and raised in a home where we learned to be mindful of what we put on and in our bodies. Our skin is our largest organ, and everything we put on ourselves is absorbed into our systems. I was fascinated by all the intricate factors of how our bodies function and work and how everything we do affects how we function. I was always mindful of my body, and now that I am an adult and a momma, I have watched so many of the supposedly 'natural' makeup I loved become no longer authentic. I knew I was done settling for less for my body and my family's as well.

All this was how Fenn and Willow were born! I am just a woman who wants more than the limited options out there while supporting the earth God has given us and who wants to support her family and this dream among many. This is just the beginning, and I am so thankful for God's provision and this new dream He has gifted me. I have a large vision to create many things under makeup and self-care for women, and eventually for men and children. To make authentic, transparent, and non-toxic products from cosmetics to hopefully other products like beard balm and baby bum cream. But one step at a time! Another dream is that one day I can support families in need and children waiting to be adopted.

The dream is large, the beginnings are humble, the trust is scary and exciting, and God is good. This is one of the biggest steps I have taken, but I will not walk in fear. I will trust the Lord.
